Happiness is not a goal that One can pursue
It is a life bonus earned by how you live & what you do.
Seeking happiness makes it forever an illusion
Because it comes unbidden to you in seeking the
Beauty in the things you envision.

Of all the gifts that from happiness they receive
The one of everlasting value is the ability to believe
Because all around them tragedy & the
Sounds of sorrow abound
But believing allows them to look beyond and perceive
The beauty seen and the song of joyful sounds.
