GRANDMA'S QUILTS
Sunlight through the windows, Past a Winter's night.
Would look like frostie rainbows, cause they'd be covered with ice.
Yet, in her bed was snug and warm, cause Grandma thought ahead,
And has her quilts a waitin', to stack high upon her bed.
Grandma's quilts kept the cold out, as no other cover could
For each one had love sewn inside, that's why they worked so good.
Old clothes became the patterns, to make the colorful tops.
A hand sewn family history, Passed down through years of time.
