GOOD DAY, HIS LOVE

Before he arises he looks at your face
Then up to attack the daily race
He gently touches you and greets you, Good Day
And hugs you and kisses you as long as he may
Then up and have breakfast they visit and plan
Their jobs await them they must separate
From working all day there's an ache in his spine
On his way home only you fill his mind
Your sweetness and kindness they welcome him home
He's home and he's happy no more does he roam
Home with you, improved is his mind
Home with you at love's interlude
Off to sleep with you by his side
You're all he needs to happily abide
