FAIR-WEATHERED FRIEND

She needs someone to be her friend,
A person who will be there until the end,
She needs someone to talk to at night,
Of what is best for her.

She needs someone to tell her stories
Of trials, tribulations, and all their glories.
She's so tired of listening to herself talk,
When someone else is waiting to take a walk
Outside with her.

She needs someone in the summertime
To listen to the wind and hear the chimes.

To sing carols with her and to find things to do,
While the snow falls.

She needs a Fair-Weathered Friend for all seasons,
Who will stand by her side for any reason.
