ELVES' LAUD

In song before the Christmas night
Heard gently o'er the snows,
Elf voices raise a toast to you
And this is how it goes:

Oh, Spirit, join their hands as one,
Around this ring they make.
Please, link each bond with Christmas love,
Their circle will not break.

Now whirl them, Dear Cherub, round,
With laughter, heart, and mirth.
Anointed their dance with magic light
To spread throughout the earth.

Next, form the cup to share their drink
Of magic, emerald hue.
The Essence makes the liquid sweet,
So drink, each one of you.

For, when you sip from Spirit's cup,
You're one with Elf and Trick.
And with each gift, your love will sow,
Aura blessed by Old Saint Nick.
