Sculptured alters flowing
In a twilight sky.
Glowing crimson fading
A purple velvet swirls up high.

Smoky haze hovering o'er
Mountains etched in ebony.
Sun swallowed up by earth
Bleeds forth in scarlet agony.

Secret darkness creeping
Consumes all cerulean light
Soft indigo of evening
Eclipsed by charcoal of the night.
