Your burdens are heavy but you carry them well
She's here for you as a friend
Who they share in fun and laughter
It seems to ease the pain within

You've shown her glimpses of your life
Private memories not many have seen
Letting go of so much to grasp true love
Deserves her respect it seems to her.

At times your features flush with red
Pools of tears seem poised to flow
Her heart sinks because she knows again
You've just been delivered another blow.

You say the children are adjusting well
She prays for them it's true
Your struggle is great for her happiness
But where does all this leave you.

When you stare at their three little pictures
