DEAREST DADDY

She wants you to know how precious you are
And how very dear you are to her heart.

You've always been there to lend her a hand,
On her own two feet you've helped her to stand.

You're a wonderful man and she's grown to depend
On the love and support you give time and again.

To your family you've given the best of your years,
Yet you keep right on giving and drying their tears.

You've tried very hard to stand for what's right;
So many times you've helped her to see the light.

She wants to say "Thank You" for all you have done,
In raising your family--3 daughters and 2 sons.

Though words can't express the depth of her love
Each day she thanks her Heavenly Father above,

For giving her a Daddy to have and to hold.
One who's more precious than silver or gold.
