DANCE DECEIVE

Voices taunt, sorted and
Wept. The sky so pales
Through a tangled web
Of a downy night's bed,
That holds so still,
Lies the shadows that
Time conceals. A mask of
Innocence preys the hush.
In trembling silence of
The faintest touch. In mind
Of once and taste of love,
That ask to breathe, that
Dance deceive. It's so to
Roam this side and cast,
A martyred smile, undefinable
Mask of gardens that sleep
In ground so fertile, howls
Some fashion, roots desire.
