CONFINEMENT
Sitting in a cess pool of unfamiliar surroundings
Contemplating ideas of solution
A profound meaning surfaces
Momentarily escaping the dilemma of confusion
Within these walls of confinement
The captive begins the separation
Dividing anguish and resentment
With memories of affection
Separating the barriers of incarceration
And casting thoughts outward far and long
One holds together the sanity of the duration
Of freedom ringing its everlasting song
Months become years of confinement
Features age while darkness grays
The day approaches the end of imprisonment
With songs singing of resentment, from too many days
