CLOUDY DAY

It rained all day, and thru the night,
The streets are flooded, what a terrible sight.
He went to town, on a business trip,
The water was so deep, he thought his car would flip.

The sky is black, a gloomy sight,
They aren't used to seeing, the sun not bright.
The wind comes howling through the doors,
If he's confined any longer, he'll really get bored.

He checked the weather, the temperature is low,
The news said, they are in for a big blow.
The beach is heavy, with sea weed and stuff,
The waves keep crashing, the sea is real rough.
Now the wind has died, the sky is clear,
Another sunny day, will soon be here.
