BUD GIRL IN SCHOOL

Granddaddy don't know what to say.
Her Bud Girl's gone to school today.
No more calling in the morning and saying,
"Granddaddy, take me to Shoneys."
No more eating chicken nuggets and
Watching My Little Ponies.
There will be no more cookie baking during the day,
Because her little Bud Girl is in school where
She'll work and play.
Granddaddy's gonna miss his Bud Girl,
She knows he will--
But they'll find time for cookie making,
And for her, school will be a thrill.
