BLACK MAN'S WORST ENEMY

He looks in the mirror and what does he see?
A Black brother: his own worst enemy.

No, it's not the pale-faced man anymore
Who stole them from their land,
But now the tall Black brother
With a gun in his hand.
Ready to shoot another Black brother
Who looks just like him.

He wants to ask him--
"Why would you kill one of your own?"
Yet he hesitates--
Afraid he'll get 14 shots to the dome.

Why would another Black man look at his brother
With so much hate--
When their history of Black men is so great?

Sure you can blame the white man--
But you're the foolish brother
Helping to carry out his plan.

If you don't stop the self-genocide of your own kind--
Soon there won't be any more Black brothers to find.
