BEFORE THE SUN RISES

Before the sun rises,
Grandpa and he take a long walk.
They walk over mountains, and valleys
They walk and walk.
Until they reach a pond filled with beautiful fish called Carp.
They smile at them.
They smile back.
He sits down at the edge of the pond,
Waiting to listen to Grandpa's story.
Grandpa sits down beside him.
He starts a story of when he was a child.
He used to sit down at the edge of this very same pond.
His grandpa told him stories.
When the sun starts rising,
They walk back in silence.
He has a feeling of joy, after the walk with Grandpa.
This is the way,
They start the day!
