Around and Around they go,
On the Merry-Go-Round of
Life.
As the circle continues,
They reach, hoping this time
The brass ring will be theirs.
But alas, once again it is
Just out of their reach.
So they ride their Merry-Go-
Round, in the amusement
Park they have entitled, "Life,"
Clinging to dreams and hopes.
How are they to know that
When the music stops and
The carousel is no more, those
Hopes and dreams are to
Be as the balloons, always

Drifting upward.
