ANGEL OF HER DREAMS

Every night before she sleeps,
She's looking at your picture.
She says to it "I love you"
But it doesn't answer her.
The smile that she sees there
Is worth the love she gives
It's all she can remember,
But it's all she really needs.
He fills her heart with happiness
And makes her life so sweet.
She kisses him on the lips at night
Before she goes to sleep.
There is an angel that she knows
Is with her when she's weak.
She thinks he even holds her
Every night when she sleeps.
But, alas, when she wakes
Her life is not complete.
