AN INTRODUCTION TO CH'I

Ch'i has made his acquaintance to her,
As he walks into her life from time, immortally;
Ch'i with his shadowed flowing cap of darken lace,
The reflection of heaven's bird above,
His hair fastened from a golden butterfly shadow,
Reflects his royal grace;
Around his neck his ribbon's shadow of love;
Trail's behind him from time forgotten to know;
As he walks through the centuries past,
Mankind's cross reflects against his gown,
And leaves its shadowed mark to grasp,
Upon the sojourning spirit's footprints found.
