A SUMMER DREAM
She saw you standing by the fire
The wind in your hair,
Could she be that wind?
She whispered in your ear.
What followed was a summer
Full of happiness and fun,
They were dancing barefoot under stars
And they were so much in love.
You wanted her to stay
Share the lagoon and the sun kissed sand,
But like the summers
Every dream sometimes must end.
Soon memories awake
When spring is in the air,
She sees you standing by the fire
The wind in your hair.
