A QUESTION OF PRIORITIES
This truly is a wondrous age.
Amazing things surround them.
It's an age of modern miracles!
Their progress doth astounds them!
Robots do their menial tasks.
Laser beams protect them.
Miracle drugs wreck havoc
On bugs that would infect them!
They see things as they happen
Via man-made satellites;
They read their books and magazines
By nuclear-powered lights!
Before they reach Utopia, though,
Before they think they're there,
He feels that there's a problem
Of which they must take care!
The one thing that they've overlooked
Causes widespread, undue strife!
They just don't make erasers yet
To match the pencil's life!
