A PASSING NOTE
As he lies here, so still and sound,
He's making his passage on Love's new ground.
For his mortal life is over with now,
His faults and sins, Love's wish to allow.
As he studies and gazes upon his past,
He views a sight that will always last.
Friends galore and family near the start,
How he adores and carries your love in his heart.
The sadness you felt, he has felt so too,
He will be a part of your lives, but anew.
Your thoughts and memories of thou and thee,
Will carry your pain and sadness to set them free.
He is here, in his immortal way,
He'll help you, guide you, love each new day.
He'll be here when your passage will ensue,
He'll be here to welcome and remind--he loves you!
