A MOTHER'S PAIN
They tell her to stop crying
But they don't know her pain
She finds herself often wondering
If she'll even laugh again
"It'll get better with time," "Be strong"
That's what people say
If they only knew how hard it is
Just getting thru the day
Burying her child was the hardest thing
She's ever, ever had to do
The pain, the heartache, the endless tears...
It's like part of her died too.
So she comes here where it's peaceful,
Here at your resting place
To tell you how she misses you, son
Tears rolling down her face.
