A DREAM

Slip into the land of dreams
Where nothing is as it seems.
Feel it tugging at you.
From out of the blue
It comes in a swirl
Like strings that twirl
In the wind.
You are helpless, pinned
In the sky
Asking yourself, "Why?"

Looking around, spying something grand,
You see a castle made entirely of sand.
It stands there, luring
You to come inside its walls and go touring.
You hang and stare
As it fades like air.
All at once, a resounding blast
Sends you falling fast.
You let out a scream.
Relax, it's only a dream.
