A CHILD'S WORLD

Life moves slow--at a snail's pace
(At a rabbit's it sometimes speeds);
The classic tale--an animals' race
That small children sometimes read;
Do they learn the classic meaning,
Or perceive it only as fake?
For what is there for the take;
The larger children say they know,
And smaller ones, they say they think,
As what is life continues to flow
She says she doesn't want to take a drink.
