A CHILD

A child full of wonder
So wild and free
What could be more precious?
Maybe two or three.
The smiles that melt
The starry eyes
And all the hours, catching fireflies
What could feel better
Than the warmth of a child?
There is nothing greater,
More glowing or warm.
A child is beautiful
Filled with love from above.
The giggles and tears,
Chasing away fears
A child's world, full of no, nos!
The spills, the boo-boos.
And a lot of uh ohs!
She would choose nothing other,
Than being a mother
