A BETTER PLACE

They walk down the street,
And see the homeless begging;
They go into their homes,
And listen to the fighting;
They go to the hospital,
And see battered women;
But no one cares,
And nothing is done;
Criminals murder,
And leave families grieving;
Rapists rape,
And leave girls screaming;
But they walk free,
Only to do it again,
They can help,
And make a difference,
Give their love,
And care a lot;
If they could all try their hardest,
They could make this world a better place to
Live.
