WHY, THE QUESTION

Why does a flower smell sweet,
Why does the sun produce heat,
Why does it turn dark at night,
And the daytime produce light?

Why does the grass grow green,
Why are children never heard but always seen,
Why do female bears have cubs,
And why isn't there enough love?

Why do people feel hurt;
Why do firemen stay alert,
Why does the "World" have hate,
While for others it is too late?

Why do people tell lies,
While other people take sides?
Why does the "Devil" work against Love,
And some people worship the Lord?

Why do airplanes have wings,
Why does the World do crazy things,
Why don't "We" stop drinking from a baby's cup
And be a "World" that is grown up.
