WAVES OF LIFE

As she was walking on the beach today
She listened to what the ocean had to say.
The storms of life will come and go
Like waves that crest, then ebb and flow.

Some will lift her up, others knock her down
The choice is hers, to swim or drown
To ride each waves to its sandy shore
Or, to be lost at sea forevermore.

As colossal waves crush over her head
Overwhelming her with fear and dread.
She must keep swimming and not concede
The biggest waves are destined to recede.

Gaining strength with each waves she rides.
Enduring the current with courage and pride.
Waves that will continue and never end.
Their force a challenge, over and over again.
