MORNING EARTH

As she glanced out through the frosted window pane

She saw a fawn--brownish white fur, standing in the early morning
Mist.

She heard the early morning birds chirp a little song as they flew
Around busy like the bees.

He could smell the earth that morning, it had just rained, it smelled
As if the whole earth had gone to bed that night, and woken up
Early that morning and taken a long, cool shower. So it was fresh
For everyone.

She got dressed and ran as fast as she could outside.

The wet grass sparkled and shimmered in the warm sunlight.
The grass, wet with dew, felt cold on her bare feet. She runs as fast as
She could to the blueberry patch. The air smelled with the sweetness
Of blueberries.
