LIGHTNING

As the sky darkens
Visible white clouds appear
The Sun is obscure
Drops of rain begin to fall
First fast falling drops of rain.

Suddenly a light
Appears like a swinging spark
Lightning it is called
One cloud fighting another
Resulting in great sparks.

Lightning strikes again
Causing massive destruction
Splitting trees in half
Igniting fires here and there
Reaping havoc everywhere.
