HER DREAM WORLD

A perfect world is what she sees,
Rolling green hills and shimmering seas.
No wars, or fights, or police, or jails,
No worries, or troubles, or hopes that might fail.

The sun is as bright as the smile on her face,
While luminating the city, What a beautiful place!
The sky is so clear, not a cloud in her sight,
As the sun waves good-bye, for it is soon night.

The stars are bright diamonds in the sky,
For which wishes are made before shut-eye.
The moon is a face watching them all,
Keeping them safe under its dark shawl.

What a dream came true, this world, this place,
But soon it is gone, it will all be erased.
Through the window comes a bright sunbeam,
And wakes her up from her wonderful dream.
