GOODBYE HER FRIEND

The fear of death shot up her spine
When she saw her lying there.
Her beautiful eyes shut tight,
The blood in her golden hair.

Her hands and face felt oh so hot,
The blue bruises on her arms,
All she could do was stare at her
And wonder what happened to her charm.

When they called her in the room,
To say her final good-bye,
She went crazy and started to yell,
"Courtney open your eyes!"

She was a very giving person,
She gave her organs to save people's lives.
She knows she's in a better place now,
But she still doesn't understand why.

She went to see her one last time
And she was all cold and blue,
As she looked at her lifeless body
She realized her fear had come true.
