A NORMAL CHILD

A drugy, a bad person, or a monster
She is none of those.
She has ten fingers and ten toes.
She has feelings and emotions too.
She's just like the rest of you.
They are all the same, except she,
Well, she is a small child dying of
AIDS.
She may never fulfill her dreams.
She will be lucky to live to be 16.
She didn't take any drugs or have
Unprotected sex.
All she did was, she was born
That's all she did to be cursed with
This disease.
But, why is she shunned as if she's a mean
Monster, or a bad person.
She is none of those.
She has ten fingers and ten toes.
She has feelings and emotions too.
For she is a normal child
Like any of you.
